Topic: Koboron 28~200mm

It's taken a long, long, while but I've finally acquired a Koboron 28~200mm M42 in excellent condition to complete my set of these rare Vintage lenses. I had to pay a wee' bit more than my usual £0.99p, but well worth it. there are other ranges out there, but to be honest, I've got all lengths covered, including the elusive 28~105mm... there's also the 120~600mm f5.6 out there but I think I'll give this lens a pass... wink
The instruction for use is only in English & French Peter... could these have been marketed for France or French Canadian markets?

I have a look alike lens Vivitar 28-200mm 3.5-5.6, made by Kobori (77xxxxxx).
Its AF for Minolta/Sony A. Nice lens.
Somewhat less versatile by the MFD of 2.5m, no close focus feature sad
Always a small lens extra needed in the pocket for nearby pictures.

I agree with you, I have one of these & other '77' Ser Vivitar lenses... they have their good points but as you
they also have their bad points too... still, you can't go too far wrong with the lenses made by Kobori... wink
