Topic: Macro focusing stage beefed up . :P

Here's a before and after of a little project i've been working on .
The novoflex macro stage is a great tool to work with , but at some point it start to become a little lightweight .
Also the rack and pinion aragment has some play in it which can make focusing a 25mm or smaller lens a challenge .
And the focusing knobs are tucked away nice and safely .
So i was looking for something a bit beefier but without spending 200 or more euro .
The idea struck me to look at industrial stages and found one on ebay which suited my needs .
It needed a little work to make it camera ready and got following result .

Currently using Canon 5DII and NEX 6 with Olympus and Pentax converters.

Hi Bruce
This is a linear stage from Rose+ Krieger.
How i found it ?
I came across one of these thingies a few times before on earlier ebayquests .
Though those units needed more  work to make them camera ready and were more expensive .
This one was a lucky find .
