Topic: Kiron 105: Silver Y Moth Larva on Dahlia

There was some damage to leaves of a potted Dahlia plant in our conservatory. It was caused by these larvae. There are so many geometrid larvae of similar appearance that I have made no attempt to identify it. The images posted today are with my usual Kiron 105mm at f16 and twin TTL flash. Tomorrow I will upload (under Schneider HM40) some closer views.

The last image is an example of the damage. They do not feed at the edge of leaves, as would most caterpillars, but make a hole away from the edge.
