Amazing images, very nice crispness and colors. I like them.
I envy your patient to hand held the camera. You have so many DOF, thats really great.
Can you imagine trying to get the same variety of angles and compositions with a tripod? That would take more patience than I have for everyday macro.
As for DOF, the secret is to chose the viewing angle to make the best use of it.
In macro, when you focus on your subject don't just focus on the near side. Focus through the subject and back again and then choose a focus position which keeps the near side of it sharp but also some depth of it, according to your requirements.
