Topic: Mess-Baldix (6x6 folder, uncoupled rangefinder)

It's been a while since I posted anything, so a few pretty pics from an old but really rather nice 6x6 folder with an uncoupled rangefinder and a surprisingly good lens (or maybe I shouldn't be so surprised).

The thing itself - pretty!

The g/f shot in evening light, probably underexposed as the scan's brought some grain up (or maybe it's just the 7000 mile round trip the film made:-)

Very nice compact camera , Steve ! It looks   new and the results are very nice also : gradual bokeh , sharp in-focus zone and clean colors for the first two pictures .

Re: Mess-Baldix (6x6 folder, uncoupled rangefinder)

Thanks Peter! It is in fantastic condition (although the shutter's a bit sticky at speeds below 1/25) and very small for a 6x6. Kind of ironic that it costs almost as much to get a film processed as the camera cost though :-( I need to practice my b/w 120 loading in the Paterson tank and do it myself.
