Looks interesting. I doubt it'll replace Photoshop anytime soon but it my be fun for slight tweaking. I'd try it on my Android device but its not available for it yet and my laptop is dead. sad How much is €16 in USD?

Re: Anyone tried Snapseed from Nik Software before?

I love the control point technology that NIK uses.
If I would have a phone with a nice cam (now the 3Gs) I would probably use it....

I really like the idea with the colour cards in the commercial video. Guess I will nick that for my classes.  wink

Wait a minute!! Do I get that wrong or can't I really buy this software in Germany?
What the...?

And the custom feedback form is also faulty. Crap service, really!

EDIT: I have corrected this rant in a post further down. wink

OK. I was able to send a mail and they have answered quickly!

They gave me the URL for Germany. (Why do they need different websites?)
Anyway, now it has worked. I am installing it and will report back... wink

Alright, I have to admit that on first sight it seems to be a very nice tool for a quick post-production.
Pretty nice results, really.

So, apart from the strange habit of using several websites for diefferent locations, it is a nice product.
Sorry about my initial rant.

Hi Carsten,

Are you running the apps on the Mac for teaching?

Re: Anyone tried Snapseed from Nik Software before?

Hi!

Nope, I am running the apps on my Windows 7 PC. wink
I do use the educational version of LR3.6 and being a lecturer at uni the university version of CS4, though.
